Spruce Up Your Stemware
Christmas Bows
For the past month, as I prepared this article, my kitchen has been full of glassware sporting all manner of decorative additions and artsy attachments. During that time, I think my guests generally agreed that this was the favourite of all of the stemware designs. Elegantly simple, these sparkly bows are sure to dress up any stem.
This inexpensive store bought bow is perfect for this project because you can use can use the pipe cleaner tree hanger that accompanies each bow to wrap around each glass stem. If you have the time and patience you could really impress your friends and make hand made bows. To keep the bow from sliding down to the bottom of the stem, put a tiny dab of sticky tack on the back of the bow before you wrap the pipe cleaner around the top of the stem. Cheers!
