CAFÉ DORN
Ingredients:
- 7 oz. cognac or brandy
- 4 Cinnamon stick
- 4 Lemon peel pieces
- 4 Orange peel pieces
- 4 tbsp. Whipped cream
- 12 cloves (whole)
- 1 1/2 oz. Benedictine
- 1 1/2 oz. dark rum
- 1 1/2 oz. kümmel
- 1 pt. coffee (hot, strong, black)
- honey or sugar syrup to taste
Mixing instructions:
Mix coffee, fruit peels, spices, honey, Benedictine, kümmel, rum, and 3 oz. of cognac in a saucepan or chafing dish and bring to a simmer. Do not boil. Ladle into warmed mugs or cups and add 1 oz. of cognac to each cup. Top with a generous tablespoon of whipped cream. Serves four.
