Absinthe Martini

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. sweet vermouth 
  • 1 Dash Absinthe 
  • 1 Dash  orange bitters 

Mixing instructions:

Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass. If you order a Martini in Europe, you will typically be served a Martini & Rossi red vermouth on the rocks. This aperitif has existed long before the classic gin and dash of white vermouth American Martini was invented.
