FRENCH 75 (cognac)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz. sugar syrup or to taste
- 1 1/2 oz. cognac or brandy
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- champagne
Mixing instructions:
Mix lemon juice and syrup with several ice cubes in a chilled Collins glass until syrup is dissolved. Add cognac and fill with cold champagne. Stir gently. This recipe is sometimes made with gin in place of cognac.
