THE ZOMBIE

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 oz. grenadine 
  • 1/2 oz. dark rum 
  • 1/2 oz. orgeat syrup 
  • or sugar syrup to taste
  • 1/2 oz. Over proof rum 
  • 1/2 oz. papaya juice 
  • or guava juice [optional]
  • 1 oz.  curaçao 
  • 1 oz. lemon juice 
  • 1 oz. light rum 
  • 1 oz. orange juice 
  • 1 tsp.  Pernod 
  • or Herbsaint
  • 1 oz. pineapple juice 
  • Pineapple stick 

Mixing instructions:

Mix all ingredients (except pineapple stick) with cracked ice in a blender. Pour into a tall, chilled Collins glass. Garnish with mint sprig and pineapple stick. Note: Lots of versions of this drink - but all seem to have 3 types of rum !
