CHAMPAGNE PUNCH

Ingredients:
- 2 750-ml. bottle champagne
- 1/2 cup sugar syrup or to taste
- 1 l. Club Soda [optional]
- 1 cup cognac or brandy
- 1 cup curaçao
- 1 cup maraschino liqueur
Mixing instructions:
Prechill all ingredients and pour cognac, maraschino liqueur, curaçao, and syrup into a chilled punch bowl with a cake of ice and stir well. Just before serving, add champagne and stir gently. Add cold Club Soda to reduce potency and increase the carbonation. Makes approx 20 servings.
