Signs of Spring: The Masters from April 9th to April 12th, 2009

Spring has truly arrived when the greatest golfers gather at Augusta for the annual Masters event. Pull up the couch, and settle in for the weekend.

From the scratch golfer to the Sunday duffer, some of the best moments golfing come after the 18th, while bragging about the birdies and lying about missed putts. Celebrating a good game, or at least the good time spent playing, can be further enhanced by carrying the golf theme through to the 19th hole.

Popular golf-themed drinks

  • Broken Down Golf Cart is not just someone's excuse for a slow round but has become a newly popular drink
  • Feeling a little more traditional (OK, not Masters style traditional), how about trying the unique Golf Martini.
  • Forced off the course a little early due to the conditions? Damn the Weather and start planning the next round of Golf. You want to come back because you never know when your Tiger like game will appear.

Fact or Folklore

The hole in one

With the long standing tradition of the player who makes a Hole in One buying a round, you knew there had to be a drink named after this one of a kind experience. However, the original Hole in One Tradition has the golfer not only buying for his foursome but everyone in the clubhouse.
