TEA COCKTAILS

HOT CHOCOLATE

Start the fire, relax and warm your spirits with either of these classics or the many hot cocktail options.

When most people think of hot cocktails they think of coffee. While most hot drinks are made with coffee we are pleased to offer hot drink ideas that are also made with tea and hot chocolate.

CREATING A HOT COCKTAIL

Hot drinks are usually a combination of two techniques: Built and Stirred . The main ingredient hot coffee, tea or chocolate is poured into the glass that it will be served in, stirred in the glass and then served.

DECORATING A HOT COCKTAIL

Most hot drinks are layered with whipped cream, right up to within 5mm of the top of the glass, and this means that, in some cases, sugar has to be added to the drink to increase it’s density to the point that the cream will float on top of it.

CLASSIC HOT COCKTAILS

There is no more famous hot cocktail than the Classic Irish Coffee.  Visit our feature on the history and popularity of Irish Coffee "All about Irish Coffee" -  this great warm up drink.

For many the perfect fireplace warm up cocktail is Blueberry Tea.  This combination of warm tea and orange liqueur has set up many a romantic evening.

HOT TEA COCKTAILS »»

Tea is one of the world's oldest drinks, and likely the most enjoyed. Add a little spirit - and you have the perfect libation!
