Playoff Pizza with Tabasco-infused Herbed Olive Oil
- 1 16-oz bottle good-quality extra-virgin olive oil
- 5 garlic cloves, slightly crushed
- 1 tsp Tabasco® Sauce
- 1 orange peel, finely zested
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme or rosemary
- 1 tbsp whole black peppercorns
Pour out 2 ounces of oil, then add garlic, Tabasco® , zest, herbs and peppercorns. Keep refrigerated and serve within 2 weeks. Simply drizzle over your favourite pizza or use with bread, vegetables, pasta, meat, poultry, or anything else that needs to go from Bland to Bold.
Kick-Off Guacamole
- 2 ripe avocados (ripe = indents easily with the firm press of a finger)
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ tsp Tabasco® Sauce
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- ¼ c finely chopped cilantro leaves (optional)
Cut the avocados in half lengthwise, discard pit and skin. Add all the ingredients to a bowl. Blend with a fork until the mixture is just slightly lumpy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serves 6.
Serve with nacho chips, oven-crisped tortillas or raw vegetables.
Slo-Mo Nachos with Bob's Tabasco-infused Crema Drizzle
Prepare your favourite nacho platter using STAGG® Chili.
Bob’s Infused Drizzle:
- 1 c Mexican crema or sour cream
- 1 tsp Tabasco® Sauce
- 1 lime, finely zested
In a medium bowl add crema or sour cream, Tabasco® and lime zest. Whisk together, then transfer to a squeeze bottle or a sandwich-sized re-sealable plastic bag. After filling bag, clip 1/8-inch from one corner and squeeze through the hole over nachos.
Right Wings with Tabasco-spiked Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce
- 2 tsp Tabasco® Sauce
- ½ c cream cheese, at room temperature
- ½ c sour cream
- ¾ c your favourite blue cheese
(Roquefort, Stilton, Cabralas…) - 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Prepare your favourite wings. In a food processor or a bowl, blend Tabasco®, cream cheese, sour cream, blue cheese and lemon juice. Adjust to taste with salt and pepper.
Tabasco-rimmed Slam Dunk
- 1 tbsp Tabasco® Sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp celery salt
Place Tabasco® with lime juice and celery salt in individual saucers.
Turn glass upside down and dip rim in Tabasco® lime mixture.
Then dip in celery salt to coat rim.
Fill with your favourite Bloody Caesar recipe.
Big Game Caesar Salad with Bob’s Tabasco and Lime Marinated Shrimp

Bob's TABASCO®-lime marinated shrimp
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 to 2 tsp Tabasco® Sauce
- 1/2 lb of medium-sized uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
Into a medium-sized re-sealable bag, add lime juice, olive oil and Tabasco®. Add shrimp and seal bag. Shake and let marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours. Just before serving pan-sear or grill shrimp until cooked through (1 - 2 minutes per side).
Big Game Caesar Salad- 1 head of romaine lettuce

To serve, place shrimp on top of salad. Serves 4 to 6.
