A walk through a standard liquor store can be overwhelming to someone trying to make sure they have the basics in their home bar to offer guests a suitable number of choices. While the list for our bar set-up should be used as a guideline, we feel the following selections would allow you to set up a starter bar for approximately Cdn $150.
Remember there may be regional differences in the brand of rum that you should buy, and trends affect what should be on this list (tequila is hot now but may not have been needed on this list two years ago). We have based our pricing on selecting 750ml bottles (except where noted) and medium to premium brands.
