Looking for a great party idea and the chance to help a great cause?

KitchenAid Canada and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) have announced an unprecedented fundraising initiative called KitchenAid Cook for the Cure.

KitchenAid Cook for the Cure works by asking Canadians to translate their passion for home entertaining into support for breast cancer research and programs. We're inviting Canadians like you to host a party for friends, family, or neighbours and to invite your guests, who might be planning to bring a gift for the host, to make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation instead.

Funds raised will help address an urgent need to support the fight against breast cancer. In 2003, an estimated 21,100 Canadian women will develop breast cancer, and approximately 5,300 will die from the disease. The cause of breast cancer is not known and there is no cure.
